Business meetings are on the first Thursday of every month, except July and August. Meetings start at 7 p.m. and last to about 9 p.m. We discuss the formal matters of the club such as finances, shows, projects, so on and so forth. At the conclusion of the formal meeting there are always members who hang around to talk more about modeling or what is happening in the world of the “big stuff”. There are many opportunities to share ideas and techniques….. pictures are good too!
Scheduled work sessions are on every Wednesday of the month to perform regular maintenance, add new scenery, build structures, etc. This is an enjoyable time in which we visit, tell stories and kid around while we work. Even though we have scheduled work sessions, a member isn’t limited to this single evening. At any given time there may be one or two members tinkering away on their own.
